Cancellation of contract a hassle!!!!
HI. My account was in arrears and after being harassed and spoken to like i was not a customer, i paid the money i owed in the Sandton Vodacom shop on the 25 May. I then asked for my direct debit to be reactivated. My lines were still not opened even after the payment was made, i went tot he Eastgate shop was told to call the accounts/collections to unblock the phone, did that and they unblocked it. They blocked my line again i called again, about 3-4 times so far. The frustrating part is nobody knows why does it keep blocking and i get told its a system error there is nothing they can do because this happens automatically... Over and above this, i got told my 076 line is due for an upgrade and what do i want to do with it, told them i want to cancel because i have had enough of your terrible service, the guy offered me another plan where ill get 1gig dats and R120 airtime for about R78 or so. I have agreed to this plan and the guy activated it. Today i just called to cancel it because my line was blocked AGAIN for the amteenth time. The cancellation agent told me my phone was not due for an upgrade until Nov. My question is the guy i spoke to who was about to cancel the contract on that day, where did he get his information from, had i cancelled the contract as per the info they gave me, what would have happened because i was ready to cancel it at that point. The thing is, i don't want anything to do with VODACOM at this point, i'd rather keep my number on prepaid then i will port it to a more efficient network where i will receive a good service. It is pathetic to realize that your staff DO NOT KNOW their jobs and they cant read their own system, its a disgrace to be exact. I want want someone with correct information to CALL ME to receive my cancellation request please. Make sure you send someone more professional and more knowledgeable because i ma tired of dealing with your unprofessional agents!!!!!... I am asking for a simple thing here not for Vodacom to demolish a build a house but a simple service that you claim to offer.;...
