Cancellation of Contract

My contract expired in the middle of January 2017 so i called Vodacom the beginning of January to cancel my contract with them. I explained that I would like to keep the number and go over to a Pay as You go customer.

She said that is not a problem and that my contract will be cancelled the end of January 2017.

On the first of February I saw that I have the full amount of airtime and called them again, the lady said that previous consultant I spoke to never submitted my cancellation and that she would do it quickly. I told her that i now have another proble as i wanted to use the phone as a pay as you go phone, She told me that i must not worry, because this is a vodacom mistake i can go ahead and use the airtime, i will not be billed.

On the 9th I called them again, this consultant told me that again the previous lady (consultant # 2) did not cancel my contract and that she (consultant #3) would do it, i requested a email or message to confirm that this has now finally been done. I never got the email or message.

Now i received an invoice for the full contract value (including the handset fee!) for a contract that has expired and that was cancelled THREE TIMES! I am seriously dissapointed in Vodacom, this is terrible service!

I obviously called them again, they are saying, i must now pay for the airtime i've used and then only will they cancel the contract. i mean, really! apparently consultant #2 gave me the wrong information! And now I must pay for this! NOT OKAY!!!

Dear Cassandra,
I received your email, thank you, but I want a Credit Note with the Amount that will be credited. To say that the credits have been loaded doesn't really tell me if the full amount (that i'm not supposed to pay) is being credited.
