Cancellation not logged by operator

I made a phone call on 29 September to cancel a contract that was past its 24 months term. The consultant assured me that the cancellation was done and that my last invoice would be for the month of October. On 12 November I received and invoice for November, I proceeded to call the cancellation line again and was told that the cancellation was never logged and that cancelling now would mean that I would still be invoiced for December, meaning that I would be paying for 2 additional months (November and December).

I requested a recording of the phone call made on 29 September and was told that I had to go to any Vodacom store to obtain it as they could not provide it to me from the cancellation line.

On 13 November I went to the local Vodacom store to request said recording and was then again told that they can't help me but must call the help line! A ticket was logged by the store and I was told I would be contacted by Vodacom regarding the ticket, still awaiting any response.

Vodacom as a business is extremely fast to sign you up easily and conveniently to start invoicing, cancelling anything is however extremely difficult and can only be done instore or by calling the help line, this is extremely frustrating!

UPDATE: Vodacom rep**** to me privately 4 days after the post with no new information and to this date have not even cared to respond regarding my request for a copy of my phone call recording.

They seem to not be willing to owe up to the fact that they are incorrectly invoicing me for 2 months, but to rather protect themselves than to provide me with the requested recording.
