Cancellation not Cancelled

Please avoid Vodacom at all costs. Here is my story: So two years back me and my husband decided that we are going to cancel our Vodacom contracts as their data was too expensive and we could not afford it anymore. We changed over to Cell C they sent us R10000 to buy us out of our Vodacom contracts. We paid up our contracts in full and cancelled our contracts. We decided to keep our original numbers so we changed our Vodacom number only to the Cell C provider.

Now TWO YEARS LATER, I get informed that vodacom has handed me over to the attorneys for the amount that almost totals to R2000. We contacted Vodacom in Wonderpark to find out what was going on and they informed us that they never sent the cancellation documents to their headoffice. As per recording they were going to rectify this problem but also failed to do so.

Now I have a bad credit record plus my documents have been handed over to attorneys all because Vodacom's staff is *********** to do their own jobs.

Now Vodacom how do you employ staff that does not know what they are doing? Because to top it all off I phoned Vodacom to sort out this mess, the only answer I got was that oh sorry I cant pick you up on the system.

Well thank you Vodacom for destroying my credit record for absolutely no reason. Just so that you know it is ***** to open an account against my name without my CONSENT after I HAVE CLOSED....... my account.

Your terms and conditions may state that you can automatically renew a contract after two years but this is not valid anymore after the customer cancelled their contract. Is there actually someone at Vodacom that is capable of doing their job and sorting out this mess or is Vodacom really this useless?

I have closed two accounts on the same day the numbers is as follows: ********** 043 & ********** 926 one in my name and one in my mothers name.

Please feel free to contact me should you find someone with brains that can help resolve this matter as I am tired of explaining myself constantly and no one even understands what I am saying.

Tx

Hey Vodacom, So your attorneys are harrasing me for the money that I don't owe you. Tried to phone you guys AGAIN was sent from customer care to accounts to cancellations and then to legal where I am asked to enter my ID number which I do only to have the operator to tell me I must phone the attorneys. I phone the attorneys and they tell me to phone you!!!!!!!!! How the **** do I resolve this if I can only get your stupid answering machine???????? I keep on asking for a manager but apparently there are none working there. I am so glad I cancelled with you I am only sorry for ever signing with such an company with absolutely no customer service and no clue as to what they are doing..... Please advise how do I get a hold of you guys without Speaking to 10 people there because no one knows how to do their jobs or how to resolve a problem????

Finally got trough to your Legal department - I was once again advised that the account has been handed over and that I must contact the attorneys. So now Vodacom wants a cancellation letter from me which I dont have as we did it in store and they where supposed to sent it through on behalf of me. Apparently they never sent it - Vodacom's fault not mine... And then the lady in Legal was so nice she literally threw the phone down in my ear. Well done Vodacom you never cease to amaze me. I have never seen a company with such rude staff as yours. Please be sure to pull up my call records as I would like to lodge a complaint to the lady in Legal that "assisted" me on the phone. 21.11.2017 at about 16:15pm. I want the record to be sent to me and the name of the person on the otherside of the phone.

6 days later and STILL NO REPLY. You want money but you cant sort out your accounts. Vodacom was the best now your the worst I hope you lose all your customers and close your doors. Reading your reviews here I guess its only a matter of time unless your staff starts getting training.
