Cancellation Department - Incorrect Information Provided

On 10 Dec 2016 I contacted the cancellation department on behalf of my mom and requested a quote in order to cancel her contract. The lady who assisted advised that she had sent the quote and that it was valid for 14 days. I asked questions on how the cancellations worked and in particular that once we paid the amount quoted there would be no further amounts due, which she confirmed. On 13 Dec I had yet to receive the quote so I called in again and it was sent immediately, the lady advised also made note that all acculated airtime and data would be lost when the contract was switched over to prepaid. We then paid the amount in full due and submitted the relvant docs. on 15 Dec we received an email from Vidacom advise that the cancellation had been processed.

We are now receiving voice recorded messages almost daily advising the account is outstanding and that we still owe an amount or R398. We contacted teh call centre who advised that we have not paid our invoice for Dec. However this is something I specifically questioned when requesting the quote. We then requested the call centre agent input a dispute. We have yet to receive feedback on thsi dipute however the harrassing calls requesting the funds be paid have not stopped.

There is no direct person to speak to regarding this and I have been on the vodacom website to submit a complaibt but again there is no email contact. Everything must be done via the call centre and I do not feel comfortable dealing with them as the saying goes once bitten twice shy.

I need written proof that a dispute has been logged.

Regards

Marie Botha

No one has responded to me regarding this query. I have laid a complaint on hello peter, via vodacom website, in store and numerous times via telephone.

My line has now been deactivated.

I went into the branch and was treated with no respect what so ever. The phone was shoved across teh tabel to me and I was told to phone in. Like I have not tried that already!!!!!

The service I am receiving from Vodacom is disgusting and I am extremely furious with the way in which my account and this complaint has been dealt with. My line is a business line and should thsi not be resolved immediately I will be seeking compensation for business lost due to Vodacom's incompetence!!!
