Cancellation call centre and service and failure to meet commitment as week as demanding and forcing product
On the 30 Dec 17 I gave notice to cancel my one contract ********** . On the 7th of Jan 18 at 10:35 I phoned to give notice to cancel my other number ********** . The person at cancellation centre asked why and I explained I could get a better deal at Telkom. The cancellation centre person adked that I give him the opportunity to see if they could meet the offer I could get from Telkom and he would phone me on Wednesday the 10 Jan 18. On the 12 Jan 18 I still had not received a call. I called the cancellation centre again today at 11:57 explaing that Vodacom never got back to me and this person said it's a serious offence but he would assist to give me a deal, he asked me to wait on the line. I held on for 15 minutes then he tells me to please hold again they still busy, I asked him to rather phone me by 1pm. By 16:44 on the 12 Jan 18 I get a call stating that they have a deal for me and explain it which was 10g data , unlimited minutes with a Huawei phone and a free phone but the deal was only valid today. I said I would like to rather go to a Vodacom store tomorrow. Only to hear that it's only valid now and if it's not taken the cancellation request will be processed. So I said continue with the cancellation as I will not be forced into a contract. I have been with vodacom for about 8 to 10 years and I can't believe the lack of commitment and professionalism from the employee's at the cancellation centre and I will gladly be moving over to another service provided. All my calls were made from my ********** number to ********** and can be tracked and listened to on Vodacom recordings.
