Cancellation

Terrible service from Vodacom. My son passed on in July this year and the contract end date is the 30 of September. The contracts are in my name, I have called the cancellation/retentions department on *** twice and spoke to Noluthando on the 09.10.2023 and Sphamandla on the 14.10.2023. I was told by both employees that the contract end date has been moved to the end of February 2024. When asked why the end date moved, they stated the term date moved because my account was in arrears. The account went into arrears once I reversed the debit order in September as I was not receiving any assistance from anyone at Vodacom. However, my account was debited for more than R2300.00 on the 02.10.2023 and to date I have not received any assistance with my cancellation request. When asked how did the end date move to February 2024, I was told it is because the account is in arrears, which does not make sense as they have debited the outstanding balance in full. No reference numbers were provided by both agents, I was advised by Noluthando that she will call me in the week and confirmation will be sent on email. Sphamandla advised he will email me the reference number/s, which I have not received to date.
