Cancelation request never activated or completed

I am so upset a week ago I cancelled about 5 contracts the operator reassured me she would cancel these subscriptions as soon as her system was on and updated I spent a good 20 minutes and she promised me she would make sure they are cancelled and would email me confirmation. Today I followed up and only to be told nothing was on the system after more than 20 years I am so disgusted and dissapointmented. But when they want payment they will harass you. Unhappy dissatisfied client.
