Cancel contract with immediate effect!!!
To Whom it may concern
I would like to express my utter disappointment and lack of empathy in the Collections department. There is no consistency in giving proper & clear information to customers on vital & critical information.
On the 02.11.2020, my line was blocked due to non-payment of my account. I immediately called the collections department and I was advised that if I make a payment of R525.99 my line would be re-instated. I went on to further arrange that the balance of R2554.98 will be paid on the 25.11.2020 & advise the consultant that I cannot arrange for a debit order at this time due to being temporarily employed & paydates do not fall on the same day each month.
On the morning of the 03.11.2020, I called in to confirm that I had sent the POP & asking when the line was to be re-instated. I was advised it would take approximately 4 hours and that by COB all will be uplifted.
I called in once again at 14:00 and I was advised by a consultant that all the information given to me by the prior 2 consultants was incorrect. That my line will only be re-instated on the 25th once the full outstanding is paid. I explained that I had received contradicting information. I mean I have been a Vodacom customer for well over a decade and yes I admit that the account is in arrears however with lockdown and current economic crisis it has been extremely hard to ensure everything is paid in full and timeously.
I would like Vodacom to release me from this contract immediately in order for me to find an alternative network that will not treat me so unfairly & will provide me with accurate and honest information at all times. This is my one and only celphone & a lifeline when it comes to looking for suitable permanent opportunities, I have been cut off from e-mails and outgoing calls absolutely everything. Please can I ask that this contract be ended
