Can you just cancel my contract.
I’ve been given the runaround about he the cancellation of my contract. Can someone please do their job and cancel the contract as previously promised by your agent. I have requested time and time again that I do not want to be topped up ever again because I cannot afford the money I’m being charged. Cancel everything including the insurance.

14 Mar 2021, 17:59I contacted Vodacom numerous times to cancel the contract and ensure that I am longer receiving data and airtime. This is the core of my complaint. I do not want to receive anymore data/ airtime because I cannot afford it and I want to be a prepaid customer. I spoke to a consultant who assured me that the cancellation will be processed (even with the outstanding fees charged on my number for not cancelling) and that I should call in a few days later to follow up. When I did follow up, I was told that the cancellation was not processed because of an outstanding debt. I’m no disputing that I need to pay the remaining balance, because I made arrangements with the consultant to pay half on the same date I spoke to her and pay the outstanding balance on 25 March 2021.
All I want is for the data and airtime being loaded on my phone each month to STOP. It’s more expensive than when I was paying for the contract with the device included. I just want the whole thing to be cancelled, I’ll pay off my the balance on 25 March as agreed, and not have anything loaded to my number because I cannot afford it anymore.
What’s the point of being topped up every month and not being able to stop it when I want to. Where is TCF in all this? What does PPR say regarding this? What does the FAIS code of conduct say in this instance? I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE ANY AIRTIME/ DATA LOADED ON MY PHONE. Please listen to the call between myself and your consultant when she made me believe that the matter will be resolved and contract will be cancelled.
