Can't load data bundles

FAULT REF: 1-***41 74 and 1- ********** **********

I have taken over a contract and upgraded on the 1st of February 2017. Since the upgrade I was unable to purchase data bundles via the Vodacom App, by dialling *111#, via my bank, your online site or through dialling customer care. I have used all means possible to purchase bundles to no avail. When one of your operators did an investigation they realised that both the Smart S and Smart M packages are still on the contract, prohibiting data to be allocated to a certain package and the fault lies with the Atterbury Vodacom store as they did the upgrade.

After visiting the Atterbury store and dealt with Elaine who did my upgrade she informed me that is is a Vodacom problem as you are using a new system. She logged the fault 1- ********** ********** and asked me to be patient and the technical team is working on it and I will not be charged out of data bundle rates as it’s not my fault. Today the 1st of March 2017 I still cannot load any data bundles as the problem is not resolved and received a sms from Vodacom stating that an investigation has been done and out of data bundle rates has been used and will be charged as such??????? I find this completely UNACCEPTABLE as I have been nothing but patient while Vodacom try and resolve the fault. I do not understand how I can be held responsible if I tried to purchase the data bundles via all the platforms available to me and it does not work. I made all the effort possible to get this problem resolved by driving to the Atterbury shop (Fuel costs) phoning Atterbury and your call centre (call costs) to rectify this and no one is helping me and it’s been 2 months now, PATHETIC!!!!!!!!

If this does not get resolved I will seek legal advice and follow that route as I am not in the wrong here and your staff and your system is incapable to follow out their simplest of duties. Your escalation process is of no use as takes two months to resolve.

Regards,

WJ Ferreira
