Can't have my own account because i have no debt

My daughter who is 27 years old, has a diploma, holds down a job for the past 4 years after coming back from the UK, earns more than R10k nett per month, cannot open a cell account in her name because the only thing she has is a credit card and NO accounts.<br> Her car is paid cash, she lives at home with us. the account is currently held in my wifes name, and she pays her share of the account, she now wants to have it in her name.<br> Does she really have to go and open an Edgars account so that she can prove she is a reliable payer. Why????<br> She has just returned from Carnival mall and this is what has happened.<br>
