I purchased a data SIM card from Vodacom Shop Cresta on 22 September 2015. The SIM was added to my company's account. To facilitate this I gave the sales consultant a formal instruction on a company letter head accompanied by my ID. 6 days later the SIM was still not activated. I returned to the store where I was told that they could not do it because I did not give them a formal instruction. I disagreed and they then argued that I took the document back when I left the store. Which is not true. They basically accused me of lying in front of other customers in the store. I reported the incident to the call center and demanded that they call up the CCTV records for the day. Monwa Ngqonga undertook to investigate. After sending him the documents it also took him another 3 days to activate the SIM. He promised to look into the matter and call me back, but nothing has happened to date. They are clearly trying to cover for their colleagues. PATHETIC for a so-called professional company?
