Call Centre gave me the incorrect info (twice)
I placed an order for a laptop 26 Feb 2016. I received the order on 29 Feb. My laptop was damaged. I called for a replacement and 2 agents confirmed that a collection and delivery of the new laptop would take place. Yesterday i received a sim not a laptop. the agent returned the sim instead of the laptop. I called again and another agent informed me that i they do not replace devices; i have to cancel the contract and re-apply. I asked about line activation; the line would be activated soon (but it must be cancelled?) Why do you want to debit me for a contract that you MUST cancel? Clearly some of the agents do not know how this contracts and return policy works because each person gives me different information. I am now sitting with a laptop that i cannot use and i am holding my breath as to whether they are going to debit my account even though i've asked them not to because it must be cancelled according to the info given to me. I now have to wait a week before they collect and 3 days after they can cancel the contract. Vodacom, please collect this laptop and cancel the contract.
