Call Center staff are terrible!

I received a call at 12:55 on Thursday 06 July 2017 from Vodacom's customer retention campaign. They offered me 3 gigs of data for R199 a 'free wifi router' 'just to say Thank you for being a loyal Vodacom User' . My question to the sales agent is 'do I receive the router whether or not I take the offer?'. Her reply was 'yes'. Then she goes on to explain that the offer saves me R50 on my current contract plus I get more data. So to me it sounds like I am getting the value of my contract (as in contract price) which will be reduced by R50. However is was actually the value of my contract PLUS R199 for the data offer and I would not get the router if i didn't accept the deal. I explained to her to be careful how she sells it as she is pulling the wool over the eyes of the client which is not good. It is the Pricipal that matters in this regard. This woman then half attacks me with ridiculous amount of attitude and rudeness. I asked her to put me through to another team member as I want the deal. Her reply to me was "no, i'm not giving away my sale' I then asked to speak to a team leader and she dropped the call in my face. I AM BESIDE MYSEL UPSET!

I called Vodacom went through 7 people to get to this woman's team leader. and I get told she will call me back. Which I doubt is going to happen as I got throught to the same person while trying to call the team leader. Vodafone's Client service, in my experience has been so terrrible that I am seriously looking into porting to another mobile provider. I am so disappointed to say the least and the brand, in my view has been tarnished terribly.
