****** by Vodacom!!

On the 30/11/23 i took out a Cellphone Contract with Westwood Vodacom store and got a Z Flip Phone. According to the bells and whistles- this phone has a 2 year warranty and i was advised by the Store Manager Preggie Govender to take out a Policy for Accidents and Damage. (Policy Number: POL***).

On the 27/2/24- i booked the phone into Vodacom's Repair Centre as the phone had cracked ( Job Number: ***0) and the lady that assisted was Roxanne Moses at Briardene, she booked in, sent for repairs and then returned on the 13/3/24.

The phone started acting up and so it was taken to Vodacoms Repair Centre in Umhlanga- Joshua Mitchell assisted in this matter- according to him they could not pick up the Insurance and so quoted a fee of R19968.00 to fix the phone ( Job number: ***1) was quoted. This was rejected and the phone was sent to Westwood Store for collection. Whilst all this was happening, the cell number that was given with this cellphone was not cleared- I was receiving messages from SARS, Banks and a few places advising that a some was money was outstanding for a Mr JW Crafford. This was advised to Vodacom.

The phone was then sent back to Roxanne Moses at Briardene who booked it in. The phone comes on with 0 screen visibility. ( Job Number: ***0). It was sent to the Insurance to claim so that they can fix it- the insurance lady Yvonne had advised that the sim card was never in the phone for min of 45 days. When the phone was received, the sim card was placed in the Z Flip, only when it went in for repairs, i was advised t remove it. I was also advise that i can used the sim in an alternate phone whilst it is in repairs.

I received a call from Roxanne advising that the claim to repair the phone was denied- the reason was the sim card was not in the phone from inception, however i differ as it was and it was removed in the present of Roxanne Moses. I have been without my phone ever since and had to purchase a phone outright in order to keep my contract of which now i am so dissatisfied. I am paying for Insurance and my contract diligently.

What's the point really- i am tired of being **** to and advised that my sim card was not in my phone from inception!!!! Where was it all this time in -space? 2 year warranty- Policy Insurance- i am being ******!!

I would never advise anyone to get this stupid phone- all the hype ....should be more issues!!
