Buying Data
I've been trying to buy DATA on the My Vodacom App and on the website, since yesterday, for my Wi-fi connection. Each time I go through the whole process only to be told right at the end they a re having technical problems (I heard from someone else it's been going on for the whole week). On both these platforms 5GB = R292-00. At any Vodashop and on the Banking App 5GB = R400+! To me this sounds like legalised theft - who pockets this additional amount? Nobody seems to interested in solving this problem as it would mean they would be losing money! Unfortunately the lowest I can go is one star, Hellopeter should consider a turd rating as well.

04 Oct 2019, 16:06It was not the type of response i expected! I was not sure if the caller was constipated or had a toothache - he just kept on grunting! He made NO attempt to clarify the situation so I just ended the call. Also the delay was convenient in that Vodacom made sure the problem was resolved BEFORE they responded - so they don't have to explain anything. Also with the system being down it cost me small fortune, being a pensioner, to buy data at ******ionate prices!
