******** Service

I took in my iphone 6 for repairs at Vodacom repairs centre Menlyn on the 16/02/2016 as it did not charge and was promised I will have my handset after 14 working day. After three weeks I had to call in to check the status of the repairs to be only told it hasn't been fixed as it was out of warranty I had to pay for a replacement phone. The quote I received was around R4500 and I declined it. I called ifix and the quoted me around R550 and that sounded reasonable. Then the repairs manager at menlyn by the name of Jaco called to explain the high charge for the handset and he explained that they are charging me for a cracked screen and the charging port. I then said to him but when I brought the phone my screen was not cracked and he must check the job profile. He the later called me and said I was correct that when I initially brought in the phone the screen wasn't cracked. He then said he was sending the phone back to head office(Vodaworl) for them to recheck the phone and try to fix it. Between the beginning of March till to date (03/05/2016) I have been calling Jaco every day for him to explain why after three months no1 still can’t explain what is happening with my phone and why my issue can’t be resolved. I have three simply questions that I need answer for. 1. When will my issue be resolved? 2. Why can’t I be given a new handset as it is clear there is more damages to the phone hence the phone has been with Vodacom for three month? 3. Why must I call in every day for the past two month for the status of the repairs and clearly I am being **** too as Jaco can’t give me a straight answer?
