Bul**** By Vodacom

I had 24 months Red VIP contract on my ********** 159. At the end of the contract i terminated the contract and requested that the number, ********** 159, be converted to a prepaid arrangement. This was done and the confirmation thereto was mailed to me, Fana Ndlovu, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11:19 am from the email address ********** by Leoni.

Since then I have used my ********** 159 as a prepaid and it was never on contract. On Friday the 16th November 2018 i was shocked when my phone was blocked and i could not place or receive calls. I went to the local vodashop and i was informed that my number was deleted and removed from the system. The call center informed me the same and that my account was handed over for collection of which i strongly dispute. i do not owe vodacom a cent.

Since Monday i have been moved from pillar to post and there is nobody in Vodacom who can help me. I retained this number because this is the only number i have had and used for the past 26 years. now i am greatly disadvantaged because this is the the number i use for all my business transactions and notifications.

My ordeal with Vodacom still continues. Since my last posting nothing good has transpired from Vodacom, except for the two following emails: 1. On the Nov 23, 2018, 2:54 PM I received an email from ********** (EC-1KVP- 3OPUS) requesting my account number and other details. I duly submitted all the required information. No response from Vodacom. 2. On the Nov 30, 2018. i received a Handover email informing that my Vodacom account has been handed over to Hammond Pole Attorneys for collection. I still state that Vodacom had no right to deactivate my prepaid number. This number was converted from a contract to a prepaid after i had finished my contract and paid off the account. i had this number for more than twenty years and used it for all my personal and business transaction. Vodacom has summarily cancelled and removed it from the system. This has negatively affected my business and day to day life. Will somebody please help me. Even Vodacom employees i talk to are shocked that Vodacom has deactivated and removed a prepaid number from the system. This is the very same number that was loaded for prepaid conversion on the 31 May 2017 by Vodacom. I really need help because even the call center tells me that they cannot do anything.
