BUL**** BY VODACOM

On Friday the 24th May, one of your agents call on my husbands phone because I didn't answer my phone. (I'm a psychologist and don't take calls when I'm in sessions. so this lady (Molleng) phone on my husbands number and state that this is an emergency call and she need to speak with me immediately. because it is an "emergency call" my husband brought me the phone to speak to this lady. I asked her to call me later as I'm busy in sessions, but she said she couldn't and I must do an urgent upgrade as Vodacom ceased my contract on monthend, because my current package is discontinued, and if I don't upgrade that day, I will pay about R1000 monthly more than I'm paying now. I once again asked her to phone me the next day as I was busy with clients in counseling sessions. she said that the deal she could make me wouldn't be available the next day and I only have this opportunity to let her help me not paying about R1000 more. she talked so much and worked out a package that cost me now about R400 more than my current contract. she read the terms and conditions and even in that statement I told her that I was not happy and not sure if I must do this and I needed more information and needed my concerns to be answered, where she actually bul**** me into saying yes on the statement. I urge you to listen to your voice records. now I'm forced into something without feeling comfortable with it. this morning I counseled a lawyer and after our session, I raised my concerns to him about what happened to me on Friday. He informed me that Vodacom can not cease my current contract and can't force me into something I'm not sure about. he is willing to take my case against Vodacom if we can not reach a satisfactory outcome in this matter

Dear Vodacom Customer Service,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the lack of resolution regarding an incident that occurred with one of your agents, as well as an unresolved contract matter.

On 27 May, I contacted your customer service department regarding what happened on 24 May with one of your agents, by name Molleng, who gave me an ‘emergency call” and bully me into a upgrade. During this interaction, I was subjected to unacceptable behavior from one of your representatives. Instead of providing assistance and guidance, the agent resorted to bullying tactics, coercing me into a new contract that I did not want nor agree to.

This experience left me feeling distressed and violated. As a customer who has been loyal to Vodacom for nearly 30 years, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism at all times. However, the behavior exhibited by your agent was completely unacceptable and has tarnished my perception of your company.

Following this incident, I immediately reached out to your customer service team to seek a resolution. However, despite numerous attempts to address the matter, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response or any indication of steps being taken to rectify the situation.

Furthermore, there is an unresolved issue regarding my contract that remains unaddressed. It is imperative that this matter be resolved promptly and to my satisfaction.

I must emphasize that if this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction within a reasonable timeframe, I will have no choice but to seek legal assistance and pursue further action against Vodacom. It is regrettable that it has come to this point, but I cannot allow such blatant disregard for customer rights and ********* conduct to go unaddressed.

I urge you to take immediate action to investigate this matter thoroughly and provide me with a comprehensive resolution. I expect to be contacted at your earliest convenience to discuss how you intend to rectify this situation.

Please be advised that I am keeping detailed records of all correspondence and interactions related to this matter for future reference.

I appreciate your prompt attention to this urgent matter and look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution.
