Broken Promises = Broken Contract

On 31st of january I had called into the Vodacom call centre to take up a new contract. While going through the entire process, I was promised that a speaker comes with the contract. To my elation this was accepted, I was welcomed to the \Vodacom Family\". Two days later, a follow up call was done where I was told \"the contract was not captured in the previous call\" I willing went through the process where I was now promised a contract with NO SPEAKER. Oddly I raised the discrepancy and the consultant said I should just wait for the device to be delivered, and if no speaker was with the package to reject the package and then we can escalate matter. I have since rejected the package (8 working days later) and escalated the matter for both phonecalls to be listened to and investigated. I have since called the After Sales team 4 times to follow up and been told that feedback will be given today. No feedback has been given, the call has not even been listened to as yet! Very simple task.

If this is the start of our long term (2 year) relationship Vodacom, you cannot be surprised if I divorce you soon.
Sort out your systems and customer feedback process!"
