Breaking contractual agreement.

Bleow is a letter I wrote to Vodaocm and no one has rep****. Be careful what you get promised on the phone as they will just deny it. It was sent to the CEO.

I have had a Vodacom contract since inception. In March of this year my contract came up for renewal. I was keen on a Samsung S7 edge but opted to wait for a better deal, since my Smart S package only offered me 200meg of data. I was called by one of your operators mentioning to me that I’m due for an upgrade. I explained to the lady that I need more than 200meg of data as with my current contract I was getting an additional 1Gig data per month. So I was basically getting 1.2Gig per month. She then asked me to hold as she going to speak to another department to see If I could get a similar deal. After holding on for 5 minutes she came back and said I could get the additional 1GIG. So I opted for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge on a smart s package. She mentioned that because there was a promotional 2GIG for the first 3 months, my additional 1GIG will kick in after 3 months (apparently 2 promotion cannot run concurrently). I asked her to make double sure that this will happen after the initial 3 months as I had issues before. After the 3 months I noticed that my additional Gig was not happening. So I called your call centre and mentioned my situation. The operator mentioned that he could see the remarks on the contract. He also mentioned that the additional Gig was coming from another department.

Up until today I’m not receiving my additional GIG. I am tired of calling the call centre and explaining myself over and over. It is so frustrating repeating yourself to a call centre agent. I have 3 contracts on my name and just feel like closing all of them. It is so frustrating dealing with Vodacom.

I have had a Vodacom contract since inception.
