Breach of Contract

I recently received an email informing me that Vodacom has decided to increase the price of my cellphone contracts which are all halfway through their 24 month tenure - what I fail to comprehend is that I signed a contract saying I would pay X amount to them for a period of 24 months only, what give them the right to increase that payment?<br> <br> Suppose I just decide to refuse to pay?<br> <br> Obviously things will get predictably ugly, as everyone knows, Vodacom gets thrills in throwing their weight around when the peasants that pay them every month ever dare take issue with the way they decide to run their business, whether it is not even remotely fair or not.<br> <br> So where does it leave us as consumers....?<br> <br> *****ed as per usual because the CPA will obviously not protect you, the ANC has 14% shares in their business and thus, the entire judicial committee of this nation wouldn't dare rule against one of the political parties money machines.<br> <br> Truly sad that there is nothing to be done or said....
