Breach of agreement - contract upgrade

<p>My wife was due for a contract upgrade and could not find a suitable deal with vodacom. We found a better deal with MTN and contacted vodacom upgrades department. We were advised that they would match the deal and the phone was subsequently delivered to her. All of this was done telephonically. It is approximately 5 months later and my wife has not received the data or talktime minutes that was agreed up. We have tried contacting the helpdesk more than 5 times to resolve this matter. Have requested to speak to someone senior and are always told that someone will call us back.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is pathetic service as it seems impossible to get someone to call us back to resolve this. Please check recording for number ********** 454 to substantiate this. We have spoken to Brian Bhebhe who requested us to speak to Andries Ma***eng but we can never get ahold of him as we get directed to different call centers. I am going to cancel the contract if this is not resolved immediately and will not be liable for any penalties for early cancellation. I will take this to the ombudsman if threatened to do so. This blatent disregard for service is shocking and i do not hold my breath in anticipation that someone will respond to this as a matter of urgency. </p>
