Brand new phone \Repaired"and still faulty"""

I started a brand new Smart XL contract with Vodacom at the end of April. When the phone arrived it took 2 weeks for my old pay as you go number to be ported to the contract so I couldn't use it for the firs t2 weeks. Then, when it did get transferred to the contract I discovered that the phone (a brand new S6 Edge) was not picking up 3g or 4g data services, after countless calls the phone went in for repairs. after close on 2 weeks I got the phone back only to find that it still does not pick up 3G/4G signal. It has been over a month with a brand new phone and contract and Vodacom refuse to provide me with a new handset to replace this obviously faulty one. I wonder what MTN would do in this case? Wait actually I know what they would do because I have been in contact with them and they say they would have replaced it immediately if the issue had not been fixed after going in for repairs.

Lack of communications and feedback to customers is driving me insane, my emails get ignored and it's impossible to get through to anyone without holding on for 20+ minutes.I've been trying for days to escalate the matter and SPEAK to someone and yet I get no response to my request for this.
