My mom died 29 Sept and she renewed her contract in August. Number ***. So her contract was 1 month old when she died. Vodacom have cancelled her contract and are now demanding an amount of R9700. We have offered to return her brand phone to have the contract nullified. They are refusing to even consider this!!! We now have to pay for 23 months on a contract that is not usable. How us that ethical???? And do you think I can get to speak to anyone who doesn't sound like a robot reading off a script and able to think?! This response has disgusted me. The hunger for money far outweighs any reasonable resolution. She was a loyal customer for decades and this is the treatment given?!?!
