Blood sucking theives.

I have had numerous contracts with Vodacom over the years but I have decided to cancel the last remaining contract with them. I went into a store, tried to cancel it there. No, you must call the call center. This I did, the person was extremely helpful, calls were recorded. They generated a final figure and emailed me what was owing. I immediately paid outstanding confirm amount and emailed it straight back. Received email confirming cancellation. About a week later, my wife gets a call from VVM Collection on behalf of Vodacom saying I now owe R400 odd in arrears. She gives them my contact number and tells them to call me. They keep hounding her and she threatens them with Popi Act. They then leave her alone and call me. I send them all the relevant info, emails where Vodacom have sent me saying contract is cancelled and paid up.

VVM keep calling me, saying they never received said emails (ref number 279965)and I must pay outstanding money. I lost my **** with the person, emailed again, received a ref number #286769. If they never received my emails, how come I have ref numbers.

I encourage all South Africans to ditch Vodacom for the blood sucking skum they are and exploiting people for money they don't owe. Not only that, they report you and your Credit Score gets affected. I want to pursue legal action against them because of this false report.

Very strange that you say Vodacom will not contact me via Whatsapp, yet VVM call me and want me to communicate with them via Whatsapp. What a contradiction. Seems the one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing.

According to Vodacom, someone would contact me , been 8 days now and nothing. As far as I am concerned, the matter must have been resolved internally
