Blocking of dual sim functionality on the Huawei P8 and P10 lite

To whom it may concern

It is seriously disheartening to discover that the Huawei P10 lite, that I just upgraded too, does not offer the dual sim functionality on the Vodacom network. When looking at what phone to upgrade too, the P10 lite was ideal for my husband as he has 2 sims. Instead of walking around with 2 phones, the dual sim functionality was ideal for separating work and personal business.

I completed the upgrade at the "smaller" Vodacom store in Canal Walk and confirmed that the second sim has just be inserted in the memory card slot. This is serious false advertising from Vodacom's part as the functionality on this phone is limited by Vodacom. Who gives the network the right to do that? It is such a serious *******.

Please advise how this can be corrected?
