Blocking Customers from contacting the call center

Aweful Service....

I called the Vodacom to enquire about the Black Friday deal. 600GB for R299. I spoke to a consultant who advised that I need to call her from my vodacom line. I advised that my number is used in my router. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to verify the number linked to my profile. I proceeded to clarify if she was talking about the contact number on my profile and she said yes. I proceeded to provide same. She then proceeded ro do a security check and I provided same. She then proceeded to ask me about an 082 number and I advised I do not have an 082 number. She proceeded to insist that I have an 082 number wherein sim swap was done. I proceeded to explain that the number I was calling from is not my contract number but I have a contract number. She then requested my ID number and then proceeded to tell me that I had gotten a laptop in Aug and I asked of which year. She proceeded to say this this year and I advised I had not but I had gotten same either 2020 or 2019. She proceeded to tell me that she would have to do a credit check. She returned to tell me that I had too many lines with Vodacom. That time I have one line with Vodacom. We terminated the call. When I called back to get clarity on the statement of too many lines I was told by an automated voice that my number had been blocked from contacting the call center for ********** activity. How is this customer service??? Blocking the customer from contacting the call center?????????? Worst service I have ever experienced
