Blocked Account

Account no :***9..... TP Mokwena December 2019 i went into a contract for a Huawei p30 phone with the Glen Branch. All was well until tried to change my debit order banking details from FNB to Absa bank, i purchased a Huawei P30 which im paying +- R450 . My debit order runs on the 24th of each month so I did approach The Glen branch on the 22nd of January to contact the finance department to change banking details and I was told they are apparently unable to dr my new bank account , so they advised me to pay manually which i did on the 22nd of January.

So today the 16th February i went in to The Glen branch to do the swim swap as the phone in question had been ******, to my suprise im told my account is blocked because i'm in arrears for the january payment , which i had settled 2 days before the due date. I was advised to pay R102.00 for my account to be activated , because one of their consultants told me i have been charged for the unsuccessful Dr order, so i wonder what is the meaning of bank reconciliation, what is their finance department doing, lf not doing what they are hired for? and why no one called me to advice me of this situation.. I wonder if none of their finance department employees know about the Naedo dr , which could have been loaded before I'm inconvenienced , and still have to pay R54 for the sim swap.

I'm not happy . The Recourse for this disturbing and time consuming issue is for me to be paid back my money because I'm not at fault at all.Someone was just too lazy to do their JOB. With the current Economic distress no one can afford to just pay for the sake of other people not taking their jobs seriously.

How because your office was unable to process the new banking details hence I paid or rather settled the account 2 days before the due date? Why was I advised to pay manually? For me to be financially inconvenienced that way. Your reply is so immature.

Why was I then advised to pay manually 2 days before the due date?in the interim to be financially inconvenienced. It’s not my fault that you don’t have systems in place to deal with such issues. Why other service providers managed to dr my new bank account. Anyway I’m done with Vodacom after the end of this contract, surely I will be valued elsewhere. Your reply is so immature.
