Blatant theft by manipulation! Cancellation not yet processed!

My cotract with vodacom was up for review in November 2016. I went in store (Kenilworth Centre) to official cancel my contract and to transfer my number to pre paid. I completed the form trusting the service consultant to submit and process.

Me being under the impression that 30 days from submission my contract will switch to prepaid. My bill end of Feb should have covered January, this bill was exceptionally high which made me log online to check my billing. I saw online that my contract is still active with my February billing to come off my account end of March with my March bill climbing at a rapid rate. Since the 4 Feb i have been going about my business as though i am on pre paid buying me data, unaware that i am still being charged for the contract i cancelled with all the buddles attached. This to me is blatant theft by manipulating the customer.

I call in on Friday 03/03/17 where i logged this complaint, after having called the branch last month who has assured me everything was submitted and cancelled (this was an abvious lie). The ref number given 1/ ********** ********** and told someone would contact me within 7 days. Today 07/03/17 i get an sms indicating that the case has been closed. I have yet to hear from someone with a resolution. To me it seems vodacom is more focused on their KPI's in closing cases that actually resolving cases. This again points to blatant theft by manipulation.

I have a copy of my cancellation document completed on the 04/01/2017, not one consultant has requested i send this through yet i get proised this case shall be resolved.

I am actually tired of dealing with consultants as they dont log the details of the discussion and they just pass me on to the next service consultant in hope my hunt dies.

I want the person who is going to contact me to deal with this issue till the end!
