Blacklisted refurbished phone

I purchased a Blackberry Z10 from Edgars Pavilion in April 2014. In November 2015, the phone wasn't charging and the camera stopped working. I took it to the store and it was booked in for repairs. I received a call a week later and was advised that my phone was sorted. When I did go into the store, I was provided with a refurbished phone. Nobody advised me beforehand that my original phone could not be fixed. The refurbished phone stopped working a week later. I took it back to the store and I have advised that I do not want another refurbished phone. I want my original phone to be repaired. The store sent the phone in for repairs and after numerous calls and mails to Vodacom, I received an sms that the phone was back at Edgars unrepaired. I called the store and they advised that there was a problem with my battery and not the phone. This is impossible as 1.This is a brand new battery that I bought and 2.The battery was never sent along with the phone! I called the repairs centre to hear a different story - the refurbished phone is blacklisted and therefore they could not fix! What is really going on here???? I need some answers!!!! This is damn pathetic Vodacom!!!!!!
