Blacklisted by vodacom for paying my account off
In June 2015 i took out a 1 year data contract with vodacom which was supposed to end in July 2016, although i have signed the contract i was not aware that after the 1 year lapses that the contract goes on to a month to month contract, so somewhere in August 2016 i get a call from vodacom telling me that my account is in arrears, so i have made an arrangement to pay them, and so i paid them off. Now i wanted to go and take out another contract from a different service provider where i found out that i have been blacklisted for the past year already. Now I am trying to get a settlement letter from vodacom but it seems to me that they are simply to *********** to send the settlement letter, to date i have waited for 3 weeks already, i have spoken to a number of operators for hours who tells me that they will send the letter and that i have to wait 48 hours, and i have provided vodacom with 3 different email addresses already and not on one of the 3 email addresses have i received the settlement letter looks to me like they simply dont want to send me that email with my settlement letter. I dont know what to do to get my settlement letter, but i have now requested a fourth time for my settlement letter with vodacom, so hopefully vodacom can help me this time (which i doubt) The service at vodacom is really bad so should you experience contractual problems with vodacom be prepared to have a lot of patience, and a lot of time, because you will be helped by *********** operators. Ive been with vodacom for more that 10 years and never has it been this bad, so maybe a change in cellular networks wasn't so bad after all and i would suggest that you do the same.
