Black Friday False Advertising

I took a 1 day online deal in the Vodacom website on the 10 July 2018 which was R199. After taking the deal I called Vodacom to ensure that the deal is processed the same day. When I got the device, I called in to enquire about the airtime (I had not received my monthly allocated minutes). I also asked the operator to check my monthly subscription fee and to my surprise it turned out to be R249 and logged an enquiry as to why I was billed this amount as the original agreement was R199. I called the next day and asked to speak to the agent (who is a she) that assisted me, she looked for the record of my call and she called back saying she picked my recorded call for when I placed the order. After numerous discussions with her and realising that I was not getting help on my matter, I asked to speak to her manager. The manager called me and I explained the situation to her. After listening to me the manager apologised for the behaviour and the treatment I received and assured me that all this will be corrected and that I will be given R199 deal and this will be sorted within 5 days. I then asked her to send me an email to confirm this. I never received the email and I had to log numerous service requests and after being sent back and forth I got a confirmation on 27 July 2018 that this had been rectified and that I have been placed on the R199 deal. I asked for the statement that reflects this, the operator told me that it will be released on the 03 August 2018. On the 03 August 2018 I called only to be told that the amount is R249 and the agent once again had to log a dispute for the amount to be corrected to R199. I had to go through the process of calling and even logged a complaint about the issue. Finally I was then advised that I need to return the device and after it has been collected, Vodacom will then send a special request to their IT department to open the 1 day deal R199 and then issue me with a new phone. The RAM collected the device and call centre agent confirmed this and said she has logged the request for the IT to load the deal. I have followed up several times and the issue has been escalated several times and there was no resolution. Another recent encounter: I took the black Friday’s mobile and data deals and received confirmation of the order and that I will be contacted by an agent within a 24 hour period. I called the Vodacom and they are telling me that I will be assisted by the outbound team and that I cannot call them as they do not receive calls. I logged a compliant and someone from Vodacom contacted me to inform me that I cannot receive my device because the stock is depleted. I explained to him that I was one of the first people to apply for the deals (even after I app**** there were still a lot of devices left) and therefore how can I be left out; but he still insisted that I will not be able to get the deals. I very concerned about the integrity of the process that was app****, what was the relevance of being first inline and getting the order number if there is No Order. The Online service is terrible. If there are no devices why is Vodacom doing false adverti*****t. I really trusted Vodacom and their Digital strategy, but now I wonder what kind of digital strategy is it if they cannot even get their online orders right. I have been buying online from other suppliers but Vodacom is by far the worst.
