Black Friday dissapointment over a piece of paper

It’s Black Friday… been waiting a whole year to get the most awesome deals…. And to save some money.

Vodacom has a Nokia 8 Sirocco, which is usually R429 per month for R165 per month…. WOW. I need this. So I apply.

History: Been with Vodacom almost 10 years, not once has a bill not been paid. Always paid on time. Not too long ago had 6 contracts but only have 2 left and they are not even big contracts.

App****. Got an email for the application that an agent will get in contact very soon to confirm the order. Few minutes later, the agent calls. To just to inform me my application was denied due to internal scoring not being met.

WOW. What the hell is this. Thought I made a mistake. Went back to the website and APP**** AGAIN. This time I got an email just saying sorry, you application was denied.

Was not going to give up. App**** again. This time I received an email stating that in order to process my application I need to send proof of employment, EG a payslip and a copy of my Id to **********

Sent the docs within 10min. It is today the 27th. Sent the docs now 4 times with no response.

For a piece of paper I lost out on an INCREDIBLE deal I was waiting for a WHOLE YEAR. What utter *******. I still cannot believe that I, a very faithful and payfull client was denied. 3 times!!

I had to go to Telkom to get a contract on special as I want to save on monthly costs as I have been waiting for a whole year.

What does Vodacom tell me, sorry sir. We are just sorry.

@Vodacom, please give me one reason why I should not just cancel the 2 contracts I have left and just move to another service provider. It is clear that you don’t need my business. And off course I will make sure the company where I am financial manager, will move our cell phone accounts to another service provider. And we currently have 15 contracts at Vodacom.

Shame on you Vodacom. And that for a piece of paper. I waited a WHOLE YEAR!
