Billing problem - Advised to tweet about it if I want it resolved!

For the past 3 months Vodacom has been double billing me for my instant recharges. I have called the call centre numerous times and every time I am either told that it will be looked into and I will be contacted within 48 hours (yet to be contacted) or that the consultant is unable to assist me because they have the old billing system and I have been moved to the new billing system.

I was contacted by Vodacom recently with an offer to upgrade my data bundle package on a special as I was a valued and loyal customer. I said I was not intrested due to my dissatisfaction with Vodacom and communicated my frustrations to the caller. She told me that it was highly unlikely my problem would be resolved via the call centre and suggested I go into a Vodacom store with my invoices and statements and have someone look into it there. So I did exactly that.

I went to the Vodacom Store in Sandton City yesterday. I sat with a consultatn and communicated my problem. I was told that they could not help me in the store so the lady helping me contacted the billing department on a cell phone and once through handed the phone to me. I once again communicated my issue to a lady at the billing department, after she authenticated me. She said she needed to put me through to another person who would be able to assist. After being authenticated, AGAIN, I told my story once more. I was asked if I minded holding which I gladly did. After a about 2 minutes of waiting I was put through to the automated answering machine of the billing department (back to square 1!)

The lady in the Vodacom Store asked me what happened, noticing my frustration. I told her that I had been passed from agent to agent to the automated answering machine. She gave me some "honest" advice and said the only way my problem will be resolved is if I TWEET about it.

It seems Vodacom only deals with problems that are put into the public domain and sweeps the rest under the carpet.

I would really appreciate it if someone from Vodacom could contact me to resolve my billing issues before having to tweet it.
