Billing and charges without notifications or approval
I only discovered now (January 2018) that Vodacom charged me for Vodafone life from April 2017 until now. An amount of 3777.52 was deducted from my account in this period without any notification or subscription from my side. When I phoned ********** , the operator said that it is cooking lessons I subscribed to! What! And why would Vodacom get money each month for a cooking site, why isn't the cooking site getting the money? Is Vodacom giving cooking lessons? Because they get the money! And it escalates every month, started in April with a hundred and something rand and in November it was seven hundred and something rand. When I asked if you can cancel the deduction, he said yes and cancelled it, how can Vodacom cancel a subscription for cooking lessons? This is ****************! On the Vodacom app it says that when Vodacom live gets activated on your account, you will get notified for the activation and subscription, the operator confirmed that he can't see that I received a notification that Vodacom live was activated or confirmation that I'll be charged for any subscription or additional charges on my account. The operator told me to install the adblock app on my phone, why??? Vodacom can't charge me for something I didn't give consent to or can they? There is no proof that I gave consent to application or subscription I didn't even no about, there are or were never a app on my phone for either Vodafone life or a cooking site/app, Vodacom can probably see that too! Is this a way that Vodacom makes extra money?
