BILLING ALMOST DOUBLE WITHOUT WARNING OR EXPLANATION
Vodacom increased my monthly subscription on my data contract to almost double what I normally pay. Without my knowledge or any warning. Then last night (Friday evening 7.33pm I received an SMS saying my line has been suspended. Today I called the Collections Dept and spoke with Kgomotso, and the line cut off. Then i called again and spoke with Tebogo, and the call was ended again. And the 3rd call was with Nombulelo who told me I needed to speak to the Billing Dept. The line with Khaya at the Billing Dept was so bad that I asked her to please call me back, which she did. For the 4th time I had to explain the situation, and asked for an explanation why the invoice has been increased to almost double what it has been for the past 27 months. She had to check on another system as her computer was "slow". I then ended the call after holding on for about 10 minutes, and no one returned a call yet.
The last 2 months I have not received my statements and invoices from Vodacom via email, despite several requests. And could not speak with the correct department because I was told my account was not in arrears. This month I have decided to withhold the payment so my account can go into arrears in order to get my statement and invoices, which were eventually emailed to me only on the 15th of November.
In the mean time Elite Mobile who does telesales for Vodacom keeps calling me every day since Thursday (this morning 6 calls were blocked from them!).
After more than 10 years I recently had to cancel another contract (with huge difficulty) as Vodacom also overcharged, and they refused to rectify the billing. Other nrs were also migrated recently, and a few more will probably follow.
Best regards,
Best regards,
Is there any reason for doing business with Vodacom in future? Or any company that treats their customers in such a way?
Why does any customer who has been supporting the same company for close to 20 years have to go to the extreme of having to reach out to HelloPeter to get matters resolved which should have been resolved with a single phone call? And this is not the first time.
Thank you HelloPeter team for this platform and the awesome work you folk are doing!
