Billed for AndroGames service which I didn't subscribe to
I discovered by chance that I was being charged R7 per day for a service called AndroGames for the past 6 months. This is not listed on my monthly email from Vodacom and was only visible when I looked for it on the myvodacom website. I did not subscribe to this service and did not receive any SMS notifications when I supposedly subscribed or since - as required by the WASPA code of conduct. I have unsubscribed, but I want to be refunded since I did not subscribe.

09 Jan 2019, 15:08I received your call today. To summarise:
1. You said there are various ways someone can subscribe to a service, but weren't able to tell me how I allegedly subscribed, and suggested that if I want the actual proof of subscribing, I should subpoena Vodacom for this information. I think this is unacceptable and I want you to send me the details of how I allegedly subscribed and the confirmation SMS that was allegedly sent.
2. You said I would have been notified of the new subscription (I did not receive this) but that no monthly reminders are sent.
3. You said that Vodacom Live is NOT subject to the WASPA Code of Conduct. Why not?
4. You said I would be refunded - the amount was about R950. Thank you.
5. You said you would also put a block on my account to prevent further WASP subscriptions. Thank you, but why isn't this an option I can easily set myself, or preferably the default option?
6. I said I'm not happy with only a refund, because plenty of other people have made similar complaints and this is clearly a widespread problem, so a system of refunding only the people who complain sufficiently vocally won't prevent Vodacom from profiting from this dubious business model.
