Big promises, very poor delivery.

Probably the worst Internet provider service that we've had to date. Initially we paid for a 100/100mbps Vodacom Fibre contract which averaged 20/20mbps. Sometimes it went under 5mbps. This happened at least once a month for 4 to 5 consecutive months after which we finally decided to change from a fibre line to a broadband LTE connection. To get the fibre line cancelled took months! With some caller assistants stating that we had to wait until the end of our contract to get it cancelled and others stating(much later on) that it was never necessary and that we could've just given one month's notice. After eventually giving the notice the cancellation was first not put through and it took an additional month's payment to get that done. After almost 6 months it seems that the contract is now cancelled and we are connected on to broadband via a router. At first connection looked and worked great, but two months into our new contract we've hit another connectivity issue. No connection except for brief moments lasting anywhere from 2 minutes to an hour before it switches off again. Again, we called and promises were made, but still no evidence of any proper connection. As someone who has to work from home I am very unhappy with the Vodacom service that we've been given. Hours of work and airtime lost to a company that doesn't seem to care about their customers at all.
