Big Company Syndrome - Move to Cell C
It is so sad to see how companies that once cared about customer care become arrogant once they presume they are the market leaders. Vodacom is certainly one of them .

I have been with them since the day the opened. I am now moving my contracts, private and company, to Cell C one by one. 45 in total.

Why? In the past they were a company that discussed problems with the client. They went out of their way to find a solution to any problem. NOW. Their call centre does not look for solutions but rather intensify the problem. Example

I am out of the country for a while. Made an arrangement from Oliver Thambo to pay on the 24th when I get back. Arrangment in place and off I go. Landing in Botswana I get messages from all the contracts on my name. They tell me vodacom has this automated idiot that makes call about every 4 hours to tell me the account is not paid. The first one was just after 7 in the morning going on till after 9 at night.

What is the solution offered by their pathetic call centre? If you want the calls to stop, pay your account. It does not even help to explain to them I have an arrangement.

Short term advice: Get Call Blocker app on play store.
