Beyond Terrible
does not even deserve one star as there are no customer service. They take literally R1000;'s of rands for lines we are no longer using. To call their customer service is NO JOY!!!!!!!! it takes hours and what is discussed on that call does not happen. I organised to go to a smaller package because our situation changed. They just kept on taking now they cut my line they care more about money than people all our organizing with them on the phone Meant NOTHING!!!!!!! And they always are in the right according to them and all they ever say is we will escalate it which is nonsense. They just dont care. It will be a miracle if they even respond to this or mabey some automated response.

But I feel vodacom is not right on a call in march i asked them to take all bundles off my account which they say i didnt. There was more than one call from my wife and me. my wife was with me we asked them that we cant afford it anymore. It went well for two months and then we paid more again on the call it was said it was a tarrif increase I disagree it was bundles that was added to my phone! today i took screenshots of all the bundles that was added to my phone they want me to pay for something i dont want and asked to take off

10 Sept 2024, 12:13they sent an soms saying my service ticket is closed???? they resolved nothing and did not help me? I sent them the last quote they sent me with reference they add a lot of bundles after the quote they keep referring to a call the quote was sent after the call which is what I was working on. They want me to pay arrears for bundles that was added??why?? Im not using those. They put it on they must take it off. I need my line to be reconnected. I asked them to proof to me via email that all bundles are taken and that i am on the cheapest package i gave them te reference for they quote the sent and . I asked them to give me the amount i need to pay to reinstate the line and that they must look into it because i cant pay arrears for bundles im not using. then they closed the ticket they want me to explain the same story to different departments and it goes nowhere. 11 Sept 2024, 14:49I want to clarify a few things regarding my recent experience with Vodacom. According to them, they’ve resolved my issue and closed the ticket, but it feels like they are more focused on closing tickets than actually addressing my concerns. They’ve mentioned multiple times that they helped me, but their actions have been very one-sided and incomplete.
They keep referring to a phone call where they claim I agreed to bundles, but I am not sure about this. What I do know is that after the call, they sent me a quotation letter, and I believe that letter should be considered legally binding as it is an official document. There is no mention of any bundles in that letter, and that is what I feel I agreed to.
It seems like Vodacom is more concerned with protecting themselves legally and focusing on the financial side, but they haven’t really listened to me. During our phone conversation this week, I expressed my concerns about the bundles, which I feel I neither wanted nor needed. Despite this, they tried to push me into making financial arrangements that I didn’t agree with. The legal department eventually suggested that I switch to prepaid until my arrears are paid, and then they would reinstate my contract so I don’t lose my number.
I want to acknowledge the lady who helped me during this process. She was great and really helped to ensure my line was reinstated. However, I still feel that Vodacom isn't listening. They haven’t truly heard me when I’ve tried to explain that I don’t agree with the arrears or the bundles they’re asking me to pay for. In my view, they owe me, and I feel like I’m being forced into a situation I didn’t ask for.
Once again, I want to emphasize that the official quotation letter, which came after the call they refer to, makes no mention of bundles. It feels like Vodacom is treating this as a one-way street—they’re always right, and the customer is always wrong.
I am very disappointed and do not like the way i was treated or the companies practises
