BEYOND FED UP WITH VODACOM
Hi where do I begin? I am beyond fed up at this point. My contract with Vodacom was ending 30 June 2024, so I did my part and contacted Vodacom on 26 June 2024 to do an upgrade. After speaking to the consultant for more than 30 minutes, I told her I want the R150 Talk Time + 250 Minutes voice minutes package. She informed me that on 01 July 2024 I would go onto the new package. By the 12 July, I noticed that I am still on the previous package. I contacted Vodacom again, only to be informed that nothing was done. There is not even any record of this upgrade!!! The consultant then said he would re-upgrade me again. Vodacom also sent me a document to sign for this new upgrade. I also asked them I want a full investigation into this matter to find out why the 1st consultant did not activate my upgrade in June. They said they have done so. I have not heard anything from Vodacom since 12 July. I decided to give them a call today 23 July 24 to find out if the upgrade has been done. Customer Service said she cannot see any upgrade done on the system!! I was then transferred to Retentions department and the agent there said he is unable to assist me - I need to wait until 01 August 24 and then phone them again. There are just no words to tell you how I feel at this point. I am not convinced that on 01 August 2024 I will be on the new package as they failed to do so on 01 July 2024. I don't think Vodacom want our business. I am a Vodacom customer for many years, but the agents who work there currently are not good at all. I want to hear from a Manager, otherwise I am going with MTN. I will cancel my upgrade.
