Beware when signing a 24 month contract
I signed a 24 month contract on the 5 April 2014. When I called to cancel the contract with 1 months notice. I was advised that I will receive my free minutes, data and SMS on the 1 April 2016 but the contract will be cancelled on the 5 April 2016 (5 days later) so will I need to use my minutes/data within those 5 days.

Furthermore, since they have loaded my data, minutes and sms, it also means that I would need to pay for the full month of April, Making it my 25th installment for subscription and handset charges. This contract was actually migrated in March from Autopage to Vodacom directly and Vodacom customer service is pathetic, The call centre agents cannot comprehend simple English, making it frustrating to get my issue resolved. I will never take a Vodacom contract with them. I cannot understand how they can charge me a full months subscription when they are only providing a service to me for 5 days and making me pay an extra month of subscription just for 5 days. It is impossible to find good service these days. Its surprising that a company as Vodacom try to rob their customers and think its ok
