Beware of Vodacom's wonderful fibre deals

About six months ago, I signed up for Voadom Fibre when Vodacom advertised in our area. Vodacom had numerous gazebos pitched up in the area with sales personnel promoting the deal. Fibre still had to be installed but they signed up new customers with wonderful promises. The deal included a fibre free router and installation. And the best sales perk which I should not have believed, was that you get an LTE router for free plus 1000MB data until the fibre is installed. It then turned out that only the first month was for free. To this day, the Fibre installation has not been completed. Vodacom started deducting R599 from my account and despite calls logged to get the contract canceled, I am not getting any response. I have phoned the call center a few times but no one got back to me. So please beware of Vodacom's wonderful promises. Do not sign up for Fibre before it is actually available in your area.
