Beware of Vodacom *****ulently upgrading expired cellphone contract!

Vodacom has de*****ed my Dad (74 year old pensioner more than once and I caught them attempting it again).

When I was helping my father cancel two contracts on his account, l which had expired last month, I was told I couldn't do so, as a request to upgrade was made at the King William’s Town Stone Towers Vodashop recently. My father wants absolutely nothing to do with Vodacom. He cancelled their fiber service two months ago for this very exploitation. The vodashop in question has on two previous occasions called my father, saying vodacom has given him a brand new phone due to him being a loyal customer. When he collects the phone, they start deducting contract subscription fees from him for up to 36 months! When I went with him back to the shop, the manager locked herself in the back office for TWO WEEKS! You can review the video footage! Everytime she saw us she would leave and tell the service agents to ask us to return after TWO HOURS or the NEXT DAY! My dad has diabetes and he is 74 years old. That shop locks the door with trelidor so that customers cannot arrive unanounced! It's the only cellphone shop I have seen do this after covid!.

This time I pray that vodacom takes very strict action, ***** is a crime! How does an old man take vodacom to court on ******** charges?
