Beware of Vodacom "mistakenly" blacklisting your phone

Call centre staff do not know what they are doing! My sister's phone was ****** and Vodacom blacklisted MY cell phone istead of hers despite us giving them the correct IMEI number. I now am not able to use my phone because of the incompetence of the staff - I have to wait 48 hours (i assume 48 hours starting Monday morning when the technicians are able to look at the problem - if they even get to it on Monday!) When phoning to try sort this out I was told to go into any store and the shop's staff will unblacklist it for me - which store should i go into if this was all done over the phone!! Upon phoning back and speaking to another call centre person, i was told that a formal request can be made and my phone will be unbloacklisted alot quicker if Vodacom is at fault - well this was 24 hours ago and I am still waiting for my phone to be unblacklisted!! This is a disgrace!
