Beware of VODACOM

<p>To whom it may concern.</p> <p> </p> <p>Vodacom gave my number to Opera telecom without my consent,</p> <p>Then Opera Telecom sent a sms to my number and on their own discression activated a contract for R20 per day.</p> <p>I did not give consent, their actions are thus ******** as they do not have my permission.</p> <p>Vodacom is now shrugging their shoulders passing the buck to me, one of their RED clients.</p> <p>I have received the following email from VODACOM stating the following:</p> <p>I can confirm that as per the above reference, your number has been unsubscribed from Opera Telecom SA Pty Ltd services, however the request for refund was declined by the company as the service was compliant. This means that your number has opted-in to their services and thus charges are valid.</p> <p> </p> <p>This last statement is a LIE!</p> <p>The charges are not valid, this is theft.</p> <p>Vodacom, put on your big boy pants and pay back my money.</p> <p>I will use all media possible to expose you.</p> <p> </p>
