Best Service Provider In SA- WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

During the week of the 8th of May 2017, I went to the Vodacom Shop The Atrium/Overport City for a first time contract with Vodacom. I had spoken to the lady there who advised me about the in-store specials for Mother’s Day. I informed her that I will be coming in this weekend (Weekend of the 14th of May 2017) to take out the contract. When I went back to take out the contact, it was her weekend off. I would think that it would have been common courtesy of informing a potential customer about being off on the weekend.

I had then approached another sale woman there. She couldn’t find the catalogue which indicated the in-store specials that Vodacom had. So as an employee she had not known about the specials for the weekend?????

She then gives us the relevant documentation. I had to do a Port from Cell C to Vodacom so I could not take my phone on the day of the special. (all paper work was done manually).

I had to approach the store on Tuesday to find out if she had made any progress with my said contract. Please note that I had filled in the paper work for the contract and handed in all the necessary relevant documentation. She also said Head Office had to make the offer available again? I mean we signed the contract on Saturday could it take almost a whole week?

I was told that by Wednesday I would know. I had informed her that I would at the Dentist please contact my alternative contact.

On Wednesday 17th May 2017 while I was at the dentist having an extraction done, she decides to call me regarding a porting pin being smsed to my phone. My father had told her that I was inside having my extraction done and she still called again.

After my extraction I tried calling the store and I decided to go to the store and find out if the lady had sorted out the query. I went in only to find out that she could have bypassed the pin. (Her manager showed her) It would have been polite to call back and keep me informed.

Thursday 18th May went to fetch my phone. I went to read out what I had to sign. I find out that I have to pay a connection fee. I asked the assistant what will be needed to be paid and I was informed that it would only be the pro rata. (This was on Saturday the 14th May 2017) I did not mind paying. However the sales assistant said that I was supposed to know that a connection fee is charged with all contracts. She said by Friday or Monday I will be contact. She then asked the gentleman there to open my phone box twice??? The service at this store is pathetic. I just wanted to get out of that shop. Irony is that it is under new management. I have received very poor service from the sales assistant.

It is now the 19th May no connection at all.
