Best service from Vodacom. 4 months of trying to cancel my contracts. I need to get out of Vodacom please. I hate them now.

I have been trying to cancel my other contract from last year and Vodacom has failed to do so. I called again beginning of the year and I was told someone will contact me to advise what happened and do you think they would? No. Recently I called and now they managed to cancel it but as advised that they would refund me money which obviously they didn’t. I was again someone will call me back to process it and should take 48 hours. You think they call as they said? No. Last month I also wanted to cancel my other contract which is coming to end the last day of this month instead the consultant that was helping advised me to switch to just a voice data package and sent me a new quote with money I will be paying going forward. Because I am still liable to pay the handset still the month my quote still included that but my monthly premium reduced a bit because of the conversion. Today I see my debit order is still the same amount I been paying the past 24 months meaning as usual Vodacom did not do as they said they would do. I’m honestly tired of calling them cause no one seems to know what they are doing or worse no one ever follows through when they say they would. I want refund in both money charged to me on both contracts when they should have not and I want to cut ties with Vodacom because I literally hate this brand right now. Been with them for over 10 years and I can honestly say they don’t care. It seems as if they have a retention strategy of delaying cancellations to keep current clients.
